General Terms and Conditions of Filmevent.com FRA GmbH
your booking with Filmevent.com FRA GmbH – hereinafter referred to as “the Organiser” – a
contract is concluded between you – hereinafter referred to as “the Customer” – and the
Organiser. These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of this contract. Specific
agreements that are recorded in writing between the Customer and Filmevent.com FRA GmbH
take precedence over these General Terms and Conditions.
§ 1 Registration
Registrations can be made in writing, by telephone, or in person with the Organiser. From this
point onward, the rights and obligations of the contract become effective for both the Customer
and the Organiser.
§ 2 Subject of the Contract
The Organiser commits to delivering the programs requested by the Customer as outlined in the
offer and/or order confirmation. Additional services may be arranged in consultation with the
Organiser. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the Customer.
§ 3 Contract Conclusion / Booking

§ 5 Payment Terms
within 14 days of receiving the booking confirmation, but no later than 7 days before the event.
The remaining balance is due 14 days after the event has taken place. External services such as
transportation, special equipment rentals, and other services must be paid 100% in advance
unless otherwise stated in the offer. Failure to make timely payments entitles the Organiser to
reduce, refuse, or withdraw from the contract. Any cancellation costs resulting from this will be
charged to the Customer as per § 6.
§ 6 Cancellation or Contract Modification by the Customer
following cancellation fees apply:
-From booking to 40 days before the event: 10%
-39 – 30 days before the event: 25% – 29 – 21 days before the event: 50% – from 20 days before
the event: 100%
For third-party services, the cancellation policies of the respective service providers apply.
Additional costs will be charged if the Customer postpones the event or delays the start. Early
departure from the event does not entitle the Customer to any refund. For rescheduling or date
changes: 40 – 30 days before the event: 5% of the total amount will be charged as an
administrative fee -less than 30 days before the event: 9% of the total amount will be charged.

§ 7 Cancellation or Contract Modification by the Organiser
the fulfillment of the contract. In such cases, the cancellation fees outlined in § 6 apply. If the
event cannot take place due to force majeure, safety concerns, governmental actions, strikes, or
adverse weather conditions, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the event
at short notice.
§ 8 Participation Conditions
Participants or event Organisers must inform the Organiser of any health issues. Participants
must follow the Organiser’s participation requirements and instructions. Failure to do so may
result in exclusion from activities without a refund. A good state of health is required for
participation. The use of drugs or other mind-altering substances before or during activities is
strictly prohibited. Alcohol may be consumed in limited and controlled amounts during the event.
§ 9 Complaints
If complaints or damages occur during the activities, they must be reported immediately to the
team leader. The team leader will attempt to resolve the issue within the scope of the program.
The organiser is not liable for any damage to participants’ clothing, materials, valuables, etc.,
except in cases where the damage is directly caused by the team leader’s fault.
Claims for compensation must be submitted by registered mail within 30 days, including all
evidence, receipts, and other relevant documents. Failure to report complaints or damages in a
timely manner, or late submission of required documents, will result in the forfeiture of all claims.
The date of receipt by the Organiser shall apply.
§ 10 Insurance
insured by the Organiser. The organiser assumes no liability for accidents occurring during the
programs. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate health and accident
insurance coverage.
§ 11 Liability
General
The Organiser compensates for service failures or additional expenses only when no equivalent
alternative was provided. Liability is limited to direct damage, up to the amount of the event
price. The Organiser is not liable for changes caused by force majeure, strikes, natural disasters,
governmental actions, or delays/failures of third parties.
Accidents and Illness
Liability restrictions do not apply to damages resulting from injury or loss of life due to the
Organiser’s negligence.The Organiser is liable for immediate damages in case of illness, injury, or
death.
Third-Party Providers
The Organiser may involve third-party providers for optimal service delivery. The Organiser is not
liable for third-party actions or omissions. A brokerage fee of 20% applies to third-party nonfood services and 10% to food services.
Property and Financial Damages
The Organiser is not liable for damage to participants’ clothing, equipment, valuables, etc. The
Organiser does not assume liability for lost valuables.
Negligence
The Organiser is not liable for damages resulting from non-compliance with instructions. The
Organiser is only liable for actions by its team leaders that are directly related to the contracted
service.
Overall
The above provisions do not constitute a general acknowledgment of liability.
§ 12 Miscellaneous
This contract and the legal relationship between the parties are subject to the laws of the FederalRepublic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of
Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is the business
location of the Organiser unless otherwise stated in the contract.
§ 13 Severability Clause
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the validity of theremaining provisions shall not be affected.
